Can I use my own coding agent?
Yes, that's how it works. Chopstick uses the agent you already have: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, Copilot or OpenCode. There's no extra AI subscription.
Where does my data go?
It stays in a local database on your Mac, and Chopstick doesn't upload it. It never records the characters you type, never saves screen images, and deletes detail like screen text, copied text and full web addresses after 30 days. When your agent looks through your activity for widget ideas, what it reads goes to that agent, like anything else you share with it.
Is it a one-time payment?
Yes. $14.99 once, and updates are included. Until Nov 17, the code LAUNCH brings it down to $7.99.
Is there a trial?
Yes, 3 days with everything in it. No account or card needed.
Which permissions does it need?
None to start. Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Automation and Screen Recording each let it see a little more, and it keeps working with less if you leave any of them off.
Which Macs are supported?
Chopstick runs on macOS 15 and later.
